Wadaiko Rindo Sydney was established in 2010 by two members, Koji and Akiko, with the generous support and guidance of Toshi and Junko Sakamoto in Melbourne, the taiko pioneers in Australia and the founders of ‘Wadaiko Rindo’. Wadaiko Rindo Sydney showcases the powerful rhythms and rich cultural heritage of traditional Japanese taiko drumming, driven to entertain and inspire audiences of all ages and backgrounds and connect with communities near and far.

Wadaiko Rindo Sydney Activities:

• Performances - actively participates in performing at local festivals, cultural events and corporate events

• Workshops - offers seasonal taiko workshops
